Weekend Weather: Snow Problem At All?

While it does appear that we'll get another round of snow this weekend, the question of how much — or how little — still remains a bit uncertain.

Well, will it or won't it? Or perhaps the better question to ask is: how much are we gonna get — again?

After this week's two major snow storms combined to dump about a foot of snow and a layer of ice, many of us have already had our fill of Father Winter this month.

But, over the next couple of days, forecasters will be keeping a close eye on two separate weather systems that could combine and develop into one large winter storm, with the potential to add another several inches to the frozen block of wintry mix already on the ground here.

'Light to Moderate Event'

And the while it appears at this time that the weather systems moving through our region this weekend will not combine to produce a significant snowfall event — meteorologists haven't ruled out that possibility, yet.

The Weather Channel predicts the snowfall to be a "light to moderate event" from Saturday through to Sunday.

"For now, this storm does not appear to be a high-impact, crippling snowstorm, but we are keeping a close eye on the situation as we receive additional data in the coming days," The Weather Channel states in a forecast report on its website.

What do you think? Will it snow more than a few inches this weekend? Are we do for a third major storm this week? Share your predictions in the comments below!
