With more than 2 feet of snow on the ground and freezing rain expected, East Granby schools have decided to close on Monday.
East Granby town officials also advise, that with one inch of rain predicted for Monday, "residents with flat roofs should inspect their roofs for safety due to the quantity of snow currently on them and the addition of potentially rain/ice from Monday's projected storm."
Granby schools have not yet announced whether school will be held Monday.
