East Granby First Selectman Jim Hayden Sworn In Again

East Granby First Selectman Jim Hayden was sworn into office by Town Clerk Sheila Bailey on Monday Morning, January 6th at Town Hall. Hayden was re-elected to his fourth two-year term in November 2013.

He said that he was proud of the Town’s accomplishments in the past six years that have included the completion of the Rail to Trail Greenway, the renovation and addition to Seymour Elementary School and the paving and repair of over twenty five percent of town roads since 2011. On the fiscal side numerous cost saving measures, responsible Town Government Budgets and shared services with surrounding towns have served the Town well.

First Selectman Hayden is looking forward to the next two years where he will work tirelessly to keep East Granby our community of choice stressing expense control, road infrastructure improvements and grants for energy conservation and technology enhancements.
