Route 187 in East Granby is closed between Route 20 and South Stone Road due to a motor vehicle accident involving a garbage truck, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation website.
The incident was reported at about 11:40 a.m. and the road is expected to be closed for less than 6 hours.
