A 16-year-old girl was rescued this week from a prostitution ring after authorities found her at a motel in Windsor Locks, according to police.
The Associated Press reports that law enforcement officials found the 16-year-old girl at a motel in Windsor Locks near Bradley International Airport this week. She wasn't physically harmed, although she was sent to a hospital to have her emotional state evaluated, according to the AP.
While the girl was rescued, no arrests were made, according to the AP. Police said they are in the midst of an ongoing investigation into the prostitution ring that they believe spans at least three states and hope to rescue more children, according to the AP.
