Granby Man Charged With Assault, Restraint

Dawoud Ahmad, 52, of 35 Cooley Road, Granby, was arrested Dec. 6 and charged with third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful restraint and disorderly conduct.
Michael Vowles, 40, of 17 Hartford Ave., Granby, was arrested Dec. 6 and charged with second-degree failure to appear, possession or drug paraphernalia and less than half an ounce of marijuana and with being a fugitive from justice.
Jeffrey Arthur Somers, 57, of 215 Meadow Gate Drive, Granby, was arrested Dec. 7 and charged with failure to drive in the proper lane on a multiple-lane highway and operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
