What's On Tonight: Secret Millionaire, Breaking Bad, Weeds

TV tips for Sunday, Aug. 19.

Dirk Langeveld is filling in for Elissa Bass while she is on vacation. She will resume this column on Aug. 28.

Secret Millionaire, 8 p.m., ABC

Tonight’s millionaire is named Amos Winbush III. I’m starting to think some names are just destined to attract massive fortunes. Maybe I should change mine to J. Rupert Standardoil.

Breaking Bad, 10 p.m., AMC

Looking back on that time Walt and Jesse stole a barrel of methylamine after locking a security guard in a Port-a-Potty, last week’s modern day train robbery on a tanker car full of the stuff is just that much more awesome. And oh yeah, the new guy murdered a kid. So that’s what we’re dealing with tonight.

Weeds, 10 p.m., Showtime

I vowed to put this show on hiatus after a generally unimpressive and meandering run of episodes, but then I found out that it’s calling it quits after this season. So I’m toughing out this last run of unimpressive and meandering episodes to see what kind of closure they’ll offer.

So they can say they did. And keep their job. This way they get to select what is necessary for themRead More to teach with. What if they did not bring their own supplies? Look at the inner city where teachers are babysitters and mothers and fathers to those kids. Where did you get your information? Probably not from a teacher who is there to teach. Teachers choose the profession knowingly and that's their choice. Possibly with low beginning wages but with security.
