Transparency Goes Both Ways

This is a follow up to our public article submission on the Patch regarding "Granny-The Future is in Transparent Leadership".http://granby-eastgranby.patch.com/groups/opinion/p/granby--the-future-is-in-transparent-leadership
While we provided some thoughts and specifics with regard to our concern for the best route to the success of our Town relevant to our governing bodies, there is also a need for the citizens to be honest in their comments and communications. Our past and current public service men and women are evident by the participation in their various capacities (elected or assigned positions) relevant to boards or town administrative duties.  They can be identified by their names, titles, actions and track records and are available to be contacted directly by email or phone.
In keeping with the solicitation for more candidness relevant to budgets, future projects and adherence to established charter mandates...it behooves those who comment (pro or con) to the public whether it be through the Patch or other print or on-line publications to provide their full names rather than to hide behind "pseudo names" - this is Facebook childishness and lacking in integrity.  If you have the conviction of your opinion, you should not hide your identity.  If you are challenging or supporting an issue or person, it/they should have knowledge of the source.  In order to expect transparency, one should put it into practice personally.
