Interview Tips

Interviews can sometimes be like battling for a seat at a Justin Timberlake concert. There are a whole lot of people who want the same seat, and if you happen to know the right person, you might get a chance to sit in the front row.

Here are a few tips to keep you up front through the process:

1. Remember that your resume is generally up against 250 others. Make sure key words are present. Also be sure its easily transferrable to a variety of different formats.
2. Once your resume gets through the screening process, most companies will check your online presence. Google yourself, make sure it reflects what you need it to.
3. Do your homework. This can mean a variety of different things. We like to stick to network and knowledge. Know who works for the company, know you're interviewer (Google him/her), and know the company.
4. Practice, practice, practice! You get one shot at each interview.

Being prepared is your best strategy.
