Join Lite 100.5 WRCH on-air staff at Miller Foods for Jack Bannan Memorial Turkey Trot

The Lite 100.5 WRCH on-air staff will be at Miller Foods’ Thanksgiving Tent in Avon Wednesday, Nov. 20 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. to greet those who come to make purchases or drop off donations of food or cash for the Jack Bannan Memorial Turkey Trot, a one-day drive benefiting Foodshare.
On-air personalities making an appearance include Leia, Mary Scanlon, Mike Stacy and Allan Camp. Lite 100.5 WRCH has been involved with the Turkey Trot for more than a decade, and Miller Foods is one of several Farmington Valley retail sites where turkeys and non-perishable food items can be purchased and donated.

The annual Thanksgiving Tent at Miller Foods, a one-stop shopping venue where turkey, trimmings and desserts can be purchased for the holiday, officially opens Saturday, Nov. 23 at 9 a.m. Chef Todd H. Daigneault, healthy cooking expert for the “Change Your Attitude…Change Your Life” program on WOR 710AM Radio in New York City, will present a healthy cooking demonstration under the tent at 11 a.m. and also offer samples of two of his healthy recipes, Holiday Couscous Stuffing and Turkey Tetrazzini.
