The public is invited to a legislative update, which will take place at the Granby Board of Selectmen meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 15.
The event will feature state Sen. Kevin Witkos and state Rep. Bill Simanski.
The forum offers a great chance to inform and get feedback from the public, Witkos said. With issues such as gun control and the budget, Witkos said, he receives far more calls and e-mails than he could ever return. Forums provide that public interaction.
"People are really focused on what's going on in Hartford and they want to know how their state leaders are voting," he said.
The forum takes place at Granby Town Hall.
