Photo Gallery: A Look Inside East Granby's Revamped Artistic Sacrifice Tattoo Studio

Check out the new inside and outside of Artistic Sacrifice, the East Granby tattoo studio that will soon expand with offerings of custom paintings, jewelry, clothing and other fine art offerings.

Poch Best marked the one year anniversary of his East Granby tattoo studio, Artistic Sacrifice, with a revamped interior and exterior, courtesy of his contractor, craftsman and best friend Jason Landeer.

The business is expanding into a fuller art experience, with paintings, including custom works, Best's self-designed clothing, jewelry and other fine art offerings. Best, whose paintings and tattooing awards, honors and featured work are on display in the shop, emphasized that tattooing is an art and he wants to change people's impressions of tattoos and studios. He said two of his goals are breaking stereotypes about the art form and to "educate people on art, period."

Check out Artistic Sacrifice in the photos above and at the East Granby Center Shops (at the corner of Route 20 and Route 187). Look for a story about the refitted studio this week on The Granbys Patch.
