Nearly one year after the announcement of a new Homegoods store in Simsbury, the company plans to hold a grand opening for the new location this weekend.
Homegoods, a TJX company, will open its new 23,500-square-foot store in the former Borders Books & Music location at the Simsbury Commons shopping center on Sunday, March 3. The store will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to company officials.
The company announced its plans for the Simsbury store in April after it signed a lease agreement with Charter Realty and Development. The retail home fashion store currently operates 11 stores in Connecticut.
