Granby Chamber to host the Happy Holidays 'Buy Local' Shopping event and tree lighting on December 8.

The Granby Chamber of Commerce and local businesses are pitching in to help kick off the holiday season with a night of local shopping and a tree lighting celebration.

On Saturday December 8, the Happy Holidays 'Buy Local' Shopping Day and Tree Lighting will offer the season's best local entertainment and activities to get this year's holiday season started.

Prior to the tree lighting, Meadowbrook of Granby will host a Craft Show. Proceeds from the show will benefit the Local Assistance Fund which provides holiday meals and gifts to Granby residents in need, according to a release.

The Kelly Lane and Wells Road chorus groups will provide music before the Tree Lighting which begins at 5:30 p.m. At 6 p.m. First Selectman John Adams will speak before lighting the tree, according to a release.

I'm not finding any list of discounts on the Granby Chamber website or a link to such a list as stated in this article. Am I missing something?
