Nature Center Offers Maple Sugaring 101

On Thursday, Jan. 9 at 7 p.m. Rob Lamothe of Lamothe'’s Sugar House in Burlington will come to Roaring Brook Nature Center for a hands-on program designed to help local residents who hope to make their own maple syrup.

The program will include information on tree identification, necessary equipment, how to tap as well as “sugaring” anecdotes gleaned from years of making maple syrup. Admission to the program is $4 for members, $6 for non-members.
