Simsbury-Granby Rotary supporting Interval House

INTERVAL HOUSE

Here, Rotarian Prasad Menon of the Simsbury-Granby Rotary club presents the ceremonial key to the Interval House Basement to Executive Director Cecile Enrico on January 17th, 2014.

Rotary Club of Simsbury – Granby along with Calcutta Metropolitan Rotary Club and Rotary Districts 7890 (CT & MA) and 3330 (Thailand) recently completed the renovation of the basement at Interval House in Hartford with a matching grant from the Rotary Foundation. Simsbury – Granby Rotary Club was responsible for initiating the project and implementing it with Interval House.

Interval House based in Hartford provides one stop service to victims of domestic violence, primarily women and children, free of charge in 24 communities in and around Greater Hartford. Services include 24/ 7 toll free number, transportation, counseling, interface with law enforcement agencies, translation, legal representation thru local law firms and temporary shelter. Simsbury – Granby Rotary Club is a regular supporter of Interval House and their services.
