"My Kingdom for a Horse!"

CTVV host Susan Regan explores the questions and concerns posed during a highly recommended pre-purchase vet check to be done before investing in your first noble equine for pleasure riding or the show circuit veteran.  Even the most experienced buyers, particularly when obtaining a horse for re-sale, depend on their medical professional to ascertain any major concerns to take into account, dependent upon the ultimate use and rider involved to make intelligent decisions in the purchase process.

Susan had the fortune to conduct this interview with Liam O'Leary, V.M.D., one of the large animal veterinarians at Salmon Brook Veterinary Hospital in Granby, CT. Having been with the facility since 1977, Dr. O'Leary is acknowledged for both his seasoned medical experience and keen intuitive insight particularly in the area of "leg" issues for which his clients rely on his integrity and objective commentary during the exam.
