Fee for Puppy Kindergarten is $225.  Fee includes:

  • Orientation plus 6 additional  sessions  (Total of 7 sessions)
  • Your 6 sessions must be used by within 9 weeks of your orientation date.

Puppy Orientation is held on one Monday per month at 7:30 PM.

All modules are held on Monday evenings at 6 PM

In each module, you will work on specific skills at your puppy's level.

Each of the module is offered 3 times so if you can’t make a week, you can attend that module another week.   You do NOT need to take the modules in a specific order.  Modules are:

Stay and Leave it  - Module

Leash Walking - Module

Come When Called - Module

I recommend you attend all 3 modules once and then choose either 3 of those modules to attend a second time or choose to repeat modules in which you feel you and your puppy need more practice.

This class is an introduction to basic skills such as:

  • watch me
  • sit
  • down
  • come
  • stay
  • leave it
  • walking on leash

Emphasis on proper socialization and behavior issues such as mouthing, chewing, jumping, barking, crating, potty training, appropriate play and exercise and problem prevention.

  • Interaction with new people, exposure to distractions, other puppies, sight and sounds
  • Supervised play time

During the course, I will administer the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test. Upon passing, owners and their puppies may enroll in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program. One of the requirements to pass the test is that you must attend a minimum of 6 classes.  For info about AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program, click here.
