FORMER UNITED STATES COMPTROLLER GENERAL, HONORABLE DAVID M. WALKER, SPEAKING AT UNIVERSITY OF HARTFORD

The Honorable David M. Walker,  Founder, President and CEO of Comeback America Initiative and Former United States Comptroller General, will speak Thursday,  April 26, 2012 from 11:30 a.m. -2:00 p.m. at Wilde Auditorium located at the University of Hartford.  

Walker will discuss individual and government fiscal responsibility and what the economy needs to recover from the current recession. He will also address debates over raising the debt ceiling that made headlines in 2011.

His new book COMEBACK AMERICA: SAVING THE MIDDLE CLASS:  THE ROLE OF THE INDIVIDUAL AND THE GOVERNMENT IN BECOMING MORE FISCALLY RESPONSIBLE (Random House; On Sale: January 12, 2010) includes a range of insightful and informative ideas all taking into account the Obama Administration's current efforts to-date.  It addresses a range of policy, operational and political reforms needed to ensure that America's future will be better than its past.

So they can say they did. And keep their job. This way they get to select what is necessary for themRead More to teach with. What if they did not bring their own supplies? Look at the inner city where teachers are babysitters and mothers and fathers to those kids. Where did you get your information? Probably not from a teacher who is there to teach. Teachers choose the profession knowingly and that's their choice. Possibly with low beginning wages but with security.
